I am a recent computer science graduate from Tohoku University currently seeking a software engineer role based in Japan. I consider myself a generalist, with interests in software/systems internals.

I hold a Bachelor’s and a Master’s degree from Tohoku University where I mainly studied inverse graphics, advised by Takayuki Okatani. During my studies, I developed a strong interest in software internals: backend, low-level software, and distributed systems. I’m currently deepening my core computer science understanding while experimenting with things in my homelab.
I’d say I have a solid foundation in
AILLMs to understand their limitations, and I still believe they can be transformative to support our work (not a replacement). I just don’t like the hype and irresponsible usage around them. Here are some measured takes I resonate with.
In my spare time, I enjoy doing sports (mostly badminton), photography, and scrolling Hacker News. I am fluent in English and always learning Japanese.
